I don't think backwards acceleration has a cap, or the cap is higher than forward acceleration, but I zoom into infinity in reverse. Also, you can still back up after you leave the stage, so you can gain infinite points by accelerating to the back of the stage and redoing it to the end. I don't know how many of these are dev intended (By the looks of it it's all intentional), just wanted to let you know
